  • Like its desktop cousin, the mobile version of Chrome for Android utilizes the same search Autocomplete technology.

  • Chrome for Android scores a whopping 343 out of 475 (with 10 bonus points for experimental features) on the HTML 5 test site.

  • And as you can see, there isn't a single mobile browser out there that even comes close to supporting as many HTML5 features. The browser in the PlayBook 2.0 update comes close, but not quite.

Sweeeeet! Hope it becomes available for Honeycomb tablets, too sometime. But as I'm saving my pennies for a Transfomer Prime anyway, I'm gad to know the browsing experience will be second to none!

The Xoom is cheap these days, right?

  • It's crap!

Well at the moment at least. On my ICS tablet the "Browser" is much smoother. Hopefully Chrome on Android will grow into it's name.

Are you suggesting that their 'generic' Android browser DOESN'T reveal anything to them?

Also....bad news here......it appears the new Android/Chrome/Beta browser does not work with the MIPS chipset that runs many of the newer/cheaper Android tablets (of which my Novo7 Paladin is one).
    DARN. Now what?
Is it more likely Google will develop a compatible version of Chrome.....or more likely Novo will upgrade THEIR product? Or, neither?
