Gallery: HP revamps its notebook lineup

Summary: HP puts a new face on its notebook lineup. The big news is an upgrade in both AMD and Intel processors and better graphics.

  • Hewlett Packard announced the Envy 14 and 17, adding two more models to its existing lineup of 13- and 15-inch Envy laptops. The Macbook-like Envy 14 sports a 14.5-inch diagonal HD Radiance display that HP says is some 59 percent brighter than a standard notebook. Resolution is 1600 by 900 pixels, brightness is 350 nits and color gamut clocks in at 82 percent. It’s 5.25 lbs., and sports an Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processor.
