  • The Elgato Tivizen Mobile TV Tuner allows iPad users to watch TV on the go - handy for those who need to keep in touch with news and other programmes on the move or for making that commute slightly more bearable.

The tuner picks up Freeview signals and transmits them to the iPad using its own local wi-fi network and doesn't require internet access to work. It also allows programmes to be paused and recorded.

  • The Macally CARUSB10 2 Port USB Car Charger shown above plugs into a car's cigarette lighter jack and allows the iPad to be charged en route - useful for when your battery fails on the way to that all-important sales meeting.

The charger has two USB ports so you can charge your iPhone at the same time.

  • The Eagle AppsKey Pro Foldable Wireless Shortcut Keyboard also allows you to dodge the tricky task of typing on glass, and its ability to fold in half makes it ideal for those who need a pocket-sized peripheral for use on the move.

  • Where are the prices?

While I don't want to come off as a price shopper, knowing the price is the best way to motivate me to get off my duff and order the thing. Otherwise, I just file it in the mental trash bin.

    • Rockefeller pricing?

<p style="text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 1em;"><a href="http://www.zdnet.com/tb/1-100220-1947987">@tomogden</a>: You know, "if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it."</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Seriously, though, a couple of these are going up rather high on my to-get list; the 5-in-1 camera connection kit looks like a winner. As far as keyboards go, I find the iPad <em>far</em> easier to type on than the iPhone (where my fingers cover about 4 keys at once), but oh well...</p>

I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, BidsNew.com

Has anyone tried the Logitech keyboard / iPad case? We've got a couple of them and they're great. Brushed aluminum case that doubles as a bluetooth keyboard.

I agree...I just got one for my iPad 2 and it works flawlessly. Definitely one of the best investments I ever made.

  • Business accessories? What business?

How is the Elgato Tivizen Mobile TV Tuner a business accessory? Especially considering it works with Freeview DT stations which only work in the UK.

Cool gadgets , yes. Useful business tools, no.
