Familiar features include the 28mm wide-angle lens, auto scene detection, HD video recording and optical image stabilization. Intended for "focused photographers," the GE E1680W still totes a low price tag ($159.99) in a three standard hues: black, silver and red.

  • GE Power Series: The successor to the GE X5, the new GE Power Pro X500 hosts a 27mm wide-angle lens with 15x optical zoom and optical image stabilization. Along with an electronic viewfinder, the 16-megapixel X500 hosts a number of advanced shooting features such as shutter and aperture priority, smile/blink/face detection and high dynamic range. The X500 will be available in February in black and white.
