There are a lot of retro designs that are being recreated with a modern twist.
The Auto Flip clock costs $35, and is powered by a 9V battery. Gear operated, the flip mechanism comes down every 60 seconds (surprise surprise).
Available at ChinaVasion, the clock's base, spine and frame are all solid metal. The number swatches are fashioned from acrylic, and the turn dial is situated on the right side of the desk clock.
This sofa design, produced by Igor Chak, may burn a hole in your pocket but it is certainly a conversation starter.
Taking cues from the popular, iconic game Space Invaders, this couch is available for those in the United States, and costs $5000. Custom colours and builds are available on request.
It is made from memory foam, leather, and two glass surfaces:
- Width: 77.2 in (196 cm)
- Depth: 33.1 in (84 cm)
- Height: 29.8 in (75.8 cm)

Priced at £32.99 ($52), the 302 Desk Phone is a salute to 1930's phone models.
The original model was one of the first phones that used a bell in the base of a unit, usually cast in metal - later to be produced using heavy-duty plastics.
The 302 Desk Phone has push button dialing, and can plug into a standard phone socket.
- Push button dialing
- Redial button
- Ringer volume on/off switch
- Tone/pulse switch
