Matthew Kim - architect, racecar driver, engineer, and now PC case designer - was recently looking for a PC but didn't like the looks of what was available. So he took matters into his own hands. His Darwin Machine Hammerhead HMR989 series PC "looks like it was designed by NASA but hand-crafted like it was being sold on Etsy," according to ZDNet's Sean Portnoy.
The Hammerhead 989 series looks like it was built inside out which makes it very easy to access the hardware inside. Changing components is easy as, for example, two screws hold the battery and the hard drives slide in and out. The case is expected to outlast the components so changing internal parts may be a necessity.
