  • The Hammerhead series is a little over 20 pounds whereas Kim claims that a similiar PC would weigh about 30 pounds.

Not the best choice for my home office, where the dog and the dog hair would completely change the design aesthetic.

Don't really care for the A-symmetrical look.

    Looks like a Transformer's dump.

    • I'll defer to your judgement

I couldn't figure out what it was, or what to say, so I'll just "second" your response, for lack of a better description! :)

  • Doesnt take into account Dust hair etc

lets be real this would only be viable in a clean room environment and even most closed cases dont deal with dust and hair and dirt very well either this is just a total fail

@KineticArtist A closed case would actually collect dust and hair faster. Out of sight, out of mind, doesn't mean that it's not there. The first thing that I thought of when I saw this was that it would be MUCH easier to keep clean.

Unless the case is sealed and has HEPA filters on the air intakes. Even the mesh screens on some cases will eliminate over 70% of the dust normally ingested by your PC. This solution, while different, is not a viable solution for anyone with pets or small children. Far to easy to stick a paw/finger/tail into moving pieces on this case.

  • Pretty cool actually!

I look for indifference and I must say this is it. As far as clean up I see it as much easier to clean than my regular PC which I have to open then blow it out. I keep a can of air and a duster rather close so whats to picking up the can and just blowing out the easy to reach spots and dusting off with the duster. I would like to see the price tag reduced somewhat. Indifference should not be that expensive.

  • MY EYES! MY EYES!!!

That redefines the term "butt ugly."

  • since the main criteria for a case is component protection, this design is

    very far off the mark.
    it looks interesting.
better if the frosted panels were used more to protect.
but i wouldn't trust my components with this contraption.

  • It's not the ugliest thing on Earth...

... but calling it cool, pretty, beautiful, or anything like that is a lie.

    Dumb.

Im more interested in whats inside the box rather than the box itself.

That is the ugliest looking computer ever made or ever will be made. It hurts my eyes. Why why god why have you forsaken us and created such a monstrous looking machine.

I think it looks kinda cool. Well, a cool concept, anyway. It's a neat prototype. Agreed about the no pets/kids thing.

Looks like a portable air compressor, just the thing for that unexpected flat on your next road trip.

So, how does it do with that pesky FCC certification?

Am I the only one who thinka it looks like a 16mm film projector? Similar size and proportions, similar leveling foot in front, and the heatsink poking out its right side is a dead ringer for the lens assembly. All it needs is two fold-out arms and some film reels!

First thing I would do is build a rectangular frame out of aluminum stock around this thing and wrap the entire getup in scraps from an anti-allergy mattress cover. Problem solved.
