Hands-on with the RIM BlackBerry Bold 9930, Torch 9810, and Torch 9850

Summary: RIM is rolling out their newest BlackBerry OS 7 smartphones and I had the chance to take the three form factors for a whirl over the last week with the Bold 9930, Torch 9850, and Torch 9810.

I'm a bit ticked that after all the talk about NFC that verizon is not allowing on their bold! that is just ridiculous! but just like days of old with the bluetooth issue and the BB pearl issue!
and it's usually all about a way to try to get more money out of the consumer!
It's a shame for BB that carriers do junk like this!
Other than that--i think the new BB's are awesome!!!
wish vzw got the slider torch!

BB can do better than this..... A new OS that's it ! Look at the network of BB.. Slow and behind times on the phones. I have a Storm2. BB's camera is behind the times ( 5MP). Come on BlackBerry. PS. Hey Sarllc, Talk about more money out of the customer. (Blackberry) that's old technology (rip off).

I have been without a BB for a year now & I miss it everyday! Mostly the security!
But like I asked them when I talked to them...why can everyone else do something (i.e...camera, etc... and you can't?) there was no logical answer from them! I love BB & I still consider myself a true crackberry at heart, but i fear like alot of others that they are not really trying! I do think that they have come a long way with the new phones BUT is it too late? i don't know! no-one does for now!
I do know that I become more & more disappointed with them! and VZW isn't much better! ungrateful to BB for helping to make them who they are today! NOT the iphone! I have an HTC inc2 right now & it is awesome!
I am actually looking at staying with droid now & getting the iphone killer samsung galaxy s2 ASAP! the specs on it are AWESOME! and it has already sold over like 5 million phones in less than 3 months overseas! (yes USA gets it last AGAIN! HATE THAT!!!) dual core even!
these days if you sneeze you miss the boat and BB is sneezing alot!
VZW is just trying to get a few EVEN MORE dollars out of us! trying to get us to have to pay for an NFC payment! that's total bogus!
I am looking at jumping ship & going with Tmobile if things don't shape up somewhere! only thing that bothers me there is the AT&T buyout! BUT...i'm not too sure that will happen!
can we trust & rely on ANY carrier! not too sure on that one!!!
