    Popular social-networking site Facebook this week extended its membership to 10 select companies and one nonprofit organization. "There's no secret to the companies (we picked)," said Melanie Dietch, Facebook's director of marketing. "We wanted to get a cross-section of industries, as well as geographies. We wanted to have some diversity to it."
