  • Google takes a new view of Earth

Google Earth begins with a satellite view of the world. You can rotate the globe using your mouse and zoom in or out using your mouse wheel.

  • You can find many locations by typing the name of a locale and searching for it--although the north view can sometimes be confusing.

  • Fortunately, you can rotate an image up to 360 degrees to make it easier to see. Also, icons at the bottom help you to find nearby commercial sites.
