    Microsoft unveils a beta version of Windows Live Local, which integrates local search, mapping, driving directions and yellow pages with a "bird's-eye view" of locations in major U.S. cities.

    Clicking on the New York City test link provides this 45-degree view of the Statue of Liberty.
