Images: Project Natal becomes Kinect for Xbox 360

Microsoft hosted a special performance by Cirque du Soleil at the Galen Center in Los Angeles on Sunday night to formally unveil Kinect for Xbox 360. Formerly known as Project Natal, the system is Microsoft's motion controller. While it shows a lot of promise, nothing Microsoft showed Sunday night was much of a surprise. Still, it's clear where the company is going with Kinect, and Nintendo's Wii, its Wii Fit software and Balance Board hardware and Wii Sports game are in Microsoft's sights.
