Kindle for Android Home Screen

The Kindle for Android home screen doesn't look substantially different than the iPhone version.

For me, the lack of options and customization on the Kindle for Android is a deal-breaker. The only advantage it has is direct access to the Amazon store and WhisperSync.

Aldiko has nearly every customization option I want: font choices, screen layout, tap vs swipe, navigation controls, brightness increase/decrease slider, etc. Add to that fast loading, quick pages turns, virtually no application hangs, and a great 'bookshelf' home page. The lack of integration with a commercial bookstore is indeed a nuisance, but fortunately there are straightforward ways to import books.

Aldiko is the way to go if you want flexible customization and loads of options and don't mind a few steps to load eBooks. Kindle is great if maximum integration with the Amazon bookstore, at the expense of options, is your preference.

I'd like to see some pages (in Kindle) on the dell streak, so I can determine how much text I can comfortably read without turning the page.
Could you show that?
On my Iphone I am always turning pages!!!
