Lenovo used CES 2012 to expand beyond its core laptop and desktop PC business when it announced the K800 Android smartphone. Powered by a 32nm "Medfield" Atom processor, the K800 is just the first of a series of smartphones promised by the two companies.

With sharp angles and a dark skin, the candy bar design doesn't break from Android tradition. Intel and Lenovo did reveal many features at their press event, but we know that the K800 will have 720p video, HDMI-out, near-field communication (aka NFC), and Intel wireless display technology for steaming video to a compatible HD TV.

The discussion hasn’t started yet. Why don’t you begin it?
