Air Display is a useful utility that turns the iPad into a second monitor for any Mac or Windows PC. It connects to the PC wirelessly via Wi-Fi, and makes good use of the iPad's Retina Display. The app has not been updated to fully support the Retina Display, but already renders the display in brilliance that makes a desktop monitor look downright bad.
Note that Air Display is also available for some Android tablets, and in my tests is just as good as on the iPad.
The Angry birds and green pigs are back, and in full hi-def brilliance. Never has Angry Birds looked so stunning, and the new space gameplay is a big time-waster. Additional levels are available for purchase in the game for $0.99.
The iPad display is perfect for remotely controlling any PC or Mac system, and Logmein is an outstanding way to do that. The interface is fully optimized for touch operation on the iPad, and make it possible to work as if you are sitting in front of the remote system.
Free, with an in-app upgrade to Logmein Pro to provide HD video streaming for $39.99
