Connecting your email to a desktop application like Outlook 2010 is simple with Exchange connected. All folders are automatically up to date, emails are pushed through, and you can access all of the functionality that the Outlook Web App provides but from your desktop.
You can access all of the functionality that the Outlook Web App provides but from your desktop. For example, you can set automatic replies/out of office replies from your desktop. For those who use POP/IMAP do not have this functionality, however.
As with Live@edu (previously covered), the Exchange Online administrative panel is exactly the same. In this screenshot, you can see distribution groups and email lists, where you can organise your email users into different areas of your business or institution.
