  • You can access all of the functionality that the Outlook Web App provides but from your desktop. For example, you can set automatic replies/out of office replies from your desktop. For those who use POP/IMAP do not have this functionality, however.

  • As with Live@edu (previously covered), the Exchange Online administrative panel is exactly the same. In this screenshot, you can see distribution groups and email lists, where you can organise your email users into different areas of your business or institution.

  • However, this has not been seen before. Devices that run ActiveSync, like Windows Mobile devices and Windows Phone 7 devices, can be controlled and ruled by policy when it access the Exchange Online server.

    Re comment for slide 11 hell get your facts right! All users now have 10GB of email storage in Live@Edu.     365 has a nice interface and MS has definitely improved some things. However, at $72/user/yr with Sharepoint the only office app included, it's not enough value compared to Google Apps for Business.
