• Once you sign in to Lync for the first time, you have no access to your Global Address List, unfortunately. However, it's important to remember that the service is still in beta and is yet to be finalised. Nevertheless, you can still add your corporate contacts by typing in their email address and adding them manually.

  • The first time you log into the Outlook Web App, the cloud-based application which manages your email through Exchange Online, it will ask you to configure some basic settings like the timezone and whether you require the low-resolution experience.

Re comment for slide 11 hell get your facts right! All users now have 10GB of email storage in Live@Edu. This has been guaranteed to continue in the transition to Office 365 for Edu, it even looks like inboxes for all Office 365 edu user are going to 25GB
http://www.microsoft.com/liveatedu/learn-about-office-365.aspx?locale=en-US&country=US#2

365 has a nice interface and MS has definitely improved some things. However, at $72/user/yr with Sharepoint the only office app included, it's not enough value compared to Google Apps for Business.
