  • Plus ca change, Plus c'est la meme chose.....

A computer is a computer, an OS is an OS and an App is an App. But it scares me that they might be trying to be more and more like Windows.

If the changes are REALLY, REALLY, REALLY user inspired, then Vive la diff?rence!!

If they're just trying to give us more MS-DOS on a stick, we're just circling the drain.

If they're trying to give us more Microsoft where Microsoft is better, great. But unless I'm mistaken, didn't Windows take browser tabs and multiple desktops from Linux. Just my perception. I actually don't know who implemented tabs and multi desktops first.

Linux is getting better and better at making it easier for a complete changeover from other operating systems for newbies. This is another good example. Keep up the good work.

Does it support Netbooks? i.e. In ubuntu, there is a version called Ubuntu netbook remix, which is specially for small laptops.

    • 11.1 Runs Fine on my MSI

openSuSE runs fine on my MSI Win.....er....LinuxBook.

Talk about love/hate, the thing would be perfect if it didn't have such a small screen. Except I love the tiny size of the whole package.

The problem is, at my age, as we all know, memory is the second thing to go. I lose my train of thought as soon as the paragraph rolls off the screen. I wish there was a way to rotate the screen. I can read sideways, but I can't remember what was in the last paragraph or two if it's off the screen.
