IBM 3D tech
At the 22nd annual Flat Information Displays conference in San Francisco on Wednesday, Nov. 9, IBM demonstrated a low-cost way to get high-resolution 3D images from a rear-projector television or home-cinema projector. To get the 3D effect, viewers wear passive polarized glasses like those seen in IMAX theaters. The hardware is compatible with current VESA three-pin stereo interfaces.
