Chicago Auto Show
Despite frigid temperatures outside, it's heating up inside McCormick Place in Chicago for the largest and oldest auto show in the United States. The 99th annual Chicago Auto Show, which runs from Feb. 9-18, won't get the press attention of the January's North American International Auto Show in Detroit but it is considered the most important consumer show by the auto industry.

Two of the major trends at this year's show are crossover vehicles or SUVs that run like passenger car, and hybrids or cars that use alternative fuels.

The physical size of the show is impressive. Along with 1,000 cars on the show floor are two tracks that reach almost a mile long.

The discussion hasn’t started yet. Why don’t you begin it?
