  • The JS21 blade

    IBM's new JS21 blade uses the dual-core PowerPC 970MP processor, which not only has two processing engines but also has features that let multiple operating systems run side-by-side on the server. That, in turn, lets servers be used more efficiently.

  • IBM introduced its second-generation blade server chassis Wednesday, the BladeCenter H. New features include a higher-speed internal communications pathway, faster network options and new automated management features.
