  • ENV fuel cell motorcycle

English company Intelligent Energy calls its ENV the world's first purpose-built fuel-cell motorcycle. The hydrogen-powered two-wheeler, which made its North American debut in June 2005, is said to hit speeds of 50 mph and run for four hours without refueling.

  • Core fuel cell

The ENV's fuel cell, the Core, is detachable from the bike and can be used with other machines. On the lightweight motorcycle, it teams with a battery pack to provide 6 kilowatts of peak power.
