    You need to get rid of HD DVDs. They're the betamax of the HD world. In a generation, nobody will even know what they were.

    And does anyone really think 3D TVs/Monitors were a good idea? It's a gimmick at best.

  • HD-DVD

    There is no discernible difference in quality between HD-DVD and Blu-Ray. Theoretically you could make a higher quality disc on Blu-Ray by using a lower compression rate and utilizing the extra space it had, but no company ever did this. The larger capacity of the Blu-Ray was a moot point as far as movies were concerned.

    Blu-Ray won because of aggressive marketing.

    No it was not!

    Atari shipped more by the end of 1982 that C64 ever sold. However, if we are talking about a single model, then the best selling Personal Computer ever sold is the XBOX 360 - you say it's not a Personal Computer? Think again, the XBOX is every bit a PC, but we simply don't think of it that way. A close second is the Apple iPad2 - which while it is a tablet is still a PC by every real definition of a PC.
