Turning blue
When I put out the call to "Show us yours--your hi-fi that is" in December. I didn't know what to expect, but the Audiophiliac readers' response was broad and deep. JPEGs of heavyweight hi-fis, from home theaters to tiny desktop audio systems, flooded my in-box. They're all good, so let's get started looking at the gear.

Some high-end turntables are gorgeous, and Lee S.'s VPI is pretty snazzy.

Several months ago you published an article deescrib ing procedure for piutyting an icon on Windows 7 Toolbar which could be used to place computer in hibernation. Would it be npossibleto obtain this info?
The Dahlquist DQ-10 is one of the very best speakers ever, with a breadth & depth of sound stage rarely achieved. I deeply regret letting my ex talk me into selling mine.

They do take up a lot of space, though, with their broad face and their requirement for being set up well out from the wall.
@CodeCurmudgeon I worked for DQ in the 70's and gave up my DQ-10s for Quad ESLs when I was able to hear that the DQ's woofers were in reverse polarity to the upper-frequency drivers. Hope this makes you feel better about your loss.
Sort of Cool, I've seen beter at home. My Mac is a source, but really it all comes a subjective criteria we know as 'sound quality'. Maybe I should've put my mom's 1962 K-Horns and old MacIntosh 2105 series stuff in for a pic

Most of this stuff is so esoteric and ethereal as to not allow it as professional audio gear. None of this stuff is used in theaters, it lacks the dynamic range and output. I've seen more exciting gear in the Klipsch forums.

Maybe I should've shown the Altec A-7's in my basement, they're powered by an old Yamaha Hi-Current receiver and a wireless internet blu-ray player. Great party system, I bought them from a theater that was closing.
