IMAX Darling Harbour is home to the world's largest IMAX screen, measuring 29.5 meters (97 feet) high and 35.7 meters (117 feet) wide. It's been in place for 16 years, and now it's time for a replacement. Go behind the scenes with our photo tour, and find out why the CEO of IMAX Australia is against switching from film to digital.

This photo shows riggers working in the pit of the IMAX theatre to rig the 800-kilogram screen for its hoisting high above the floor.
