The Samsung Galax Tab is an Android tablet that will be launched in Europe in mid September, and in other markets including Korea, the US and Asia in coming months. Pricing is yet to be announced.

I guess this means that there won't be a WIFI only version if the phone companies are getting in the game.

It looks smaller, hence less functional and less expensive?

Carrier Subsidies = a ripoff
"$200 to $300 with carrier subsidies"
i.e. You'll need to get on a new plan through your carrier???? Hell no. You can't really compete against Apple if you don't offer a wireless only version.
Tell you what... make sure to supply this for Virgin wireless and you got yourself a deal with no contract and $40 a month unlimited bandwidth... but I highly doubt they will consider it.MindWarpMedia13th Sep 2010 -
