Running WinXP Pro, there is no "Task Scheduler" in the "Computer Management". I am not sure if this is an operating system independent issue or just something wrong in my computer... I'll try to find the Task Scheduler from another source and follow the steps from there.
Just for getting up, through a Skype call, don't keep your PC/server on. You will end up wasting lost of energy. Live green! Shut your PC off the moment you go to sleep. Buy an alarm clock instead. Even your mobile will have the alsrm clock facility.
