Get out of your pajamas and go to the office. Working from home is NOT for you. Lame reasons.

Those are kind of desperate examples...

I think this article is a bit desperate. I mean, really, you came up with THIS for a reason?

#4 - For some users, Windows 7 will mean more time spent setting up

We're all sick and tired of having every service, process, and gadget running by default, Microsoft addresses it in a very elegant way (IMHO), and now you don't want them to ask you? You just want everythign installed by default, eh? Yeah, right.

Losing. Credibility. Fast.

I agree the worst part of setting up a Win XP system was stopping all of the "JUNK" that would start by default .

So for Win 7 doing this for me was great as for the minor problems like the task bar well if you don't want a item unpin it again very simple to do .

Sorry but i laughed after reading this

If these are good reasons, then I just won the lottery. "Search is odd." Now come on. Opinions can be expressed in more than three words, especially when you're trying to convince your audience that you are right.

People most computer problerms is not Microsoft, it is the consumer and business inability to always keep up-to-date and maintain their computers with good utilities like those from PC Pitstop and Norton, which I use. I have Vista Ultimate with all current updates and service pack 1 and have no problems when doing so. I back up all necessary files and programs to an external hard drive and sometimes Blu-Ray High Def DVD recorable media. You ALWAYS want the current version of Windows for contemporary reasons, security and new trends, software and hardware reasons most obviously. When version 7 is released in NON-beta format, then you do a fresh install and erase your whole hard drive, because you should have all other necessary files backed up anyways so there is no excuse for laziness. Any computer needs a fresh reinstall and fresh hard drive erase at least every year and when there is a new version. So to clear up all this blog, news and media nonsense and laziness and red tape, there you have the answers to correct and contemporary computing with little and no stress and fuss and problems. erniemusic2@yahoo.com
There are many reasons why Vista has been a failure - and MS seem to be continuing the trend in W7 (although not the awful performance trend by all accounts).

If car makers released a new model with the handbrake jutting from the roof, readouts in the drivers side door panel, dials labelled in Esperanto etc people wouldnt buy it.

nuff said.
The mouse that comes with the Logitech Wave k/b - mouse Does not work well with Win7. I changed it and I really like Win 7 now; everything seems to work well. I am using build 7100
