Family home theater??
FAMILY?? - Oh yeah, I can just see Mom and Dad, and two kids all crowding around this to watch a movie together. Do these marketing people even think about what they're actually saying for a second?

Home theater laptop without tv tuner?

Dedicated Home Theatre, 14" display?
How can a notebook with a 14" display be classed as a dedicated family home theatre system?
Where is the 7.1 speaker system? TV tuner? Digital audio out? The specs just say headphone. I bet the display isn't 1080p either...
If it was a desktop, I could understand the description - you would plug it into a projector or HD TV. But as a notebook, you would expect it to be self contained, but 14", even if it is HD Ready, isn't by ANY stretch of the imagination a "Family" home threatre system!

can anyone say MDMI
Is no one doing this? I've had my desktop connected to my TV for years now. I even cacelled my cable tv because you can watch just about anything over the internet for free and now everthing is running in HD 1080p or better. This is the future ppl get ready to pitch your cable and sattelite - This is a great idea if you run window 7 with the media center (ultimate edtion) its great! - now laptops are with HDMI output! heck yeah! i've saved almost $100 a month turning off my cable and i haven't missed it one day. i watch what i want when i want without recording anything - heck the savings for one year is more than enough to get one of these babies loaded. maybe I'll upgrade my desktop
