  It is interesting that many people in a society worship the wrong thing. They attribute greatness to an individual and ignore the true reason why that individual got to the place he/she did. I have not heard one respondent thanking God for his blessings upon his children!

    @davidphillip I am glad that you find comfort in believing in God, but your belief is just that, a belief. If you have an open mind, read "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. And before you read that read "A Briefer History of Time." There is no God. Only brainwashing as a child and superstition can make you believe in something for which there is no proof of existence. There is plenty wrong in the world which should at least convince you that if there is a God, he or she is a bad God.
    
    Even if I accept your religious beliefs, don't you think Steve Jobs deserves some credit for his achievements?

  Thats the money shot. I feel sad at his passing, because I believe he had more to contribute. I really wanted him to have an extra 20 years just to see if he would run out of ideas or still be visionary he has been for the past 15 years at Apple. As for worshipping, its more attachment and a sign of respect. As President Obama said, many of us ended up learning about his death on the same devices he envisioned. Steve even said something about how ironic life is and how its a circle that is amazing.
