Store of the future: MySpace meets mall

Interactive Web enabled shopping is the latest gambit to entice young consumers.

Will social media influence your shopping habits? If IconNicholson--a digital design firm that couples technology and retail shopping--is correct sites like Facebook and MySpace will influence what you buy. After all, your friends will be able to vote on what you're trying on. And if you're lucky your pals may even buy it for you and then IM you through the mirror to tell you about it. Shoppers, say friends in Rome, could monitor your shopping habits at these interactive shopping terminals.
