I see that you can add tags to files.

If you can search files by tags, then that may become similar to gmail's "labels", where instead of directories you have labels attached to each files, so that a file can have multiple labels, thus belonging to multiple "directories".
This system is taking more time in the beginning that saving in a directory, but on long term has been proven to provide better organization (personal experience).

I'm a gmail addict and for good reason. Different way of thinking, but not a bad one.

Having looked into what the Sugar OS is all about, I have to say
that it's one of the best special-case implementations of a user
environment that has come along in a long time. While there are
certainly plenty of aspects that could be improved, this is VASTLY
better for young and multi-cultural users with no prior computer
experience. Bravo.
