Windows Fiji - Screenshots
Summary: The Fiji update to Windows Media Center, destined to be part of Windows 7 with a more than likely chance. These screenshots reveal very little about Fiji, because there's very little to report on. As far as I can see, it's exactly the same as it was in Vista.

living room? If this were really well done there would be no
need for that. And the rest is, well, typical of Windows.
Clunky, appears hard to use, and uninspired.

Make sure you check out the CPU usage at the bottom of the Task Manager though ;-)"

Perhaps he was running another program that was using the CPU. But as you can clearly see in that screenshot the Windows Media Center modules and components were NOT using the CPU.
Windows Media Center Modules and Components
ehmsas.exe
ehrecvr.exe
ehsched.exe
ehshell.exe
ehtray.exe
Don't believe me, take a look for yourself.

Omg.. Really?
No one cares.. the point is, the author has blasted a perfectly normal product which I use without any lags or problems, maybe it's because he didn't have the ability to understand what exactly task manager was reporting as a CPU hog. No one cares that I made a simple mistake. (Well, except maybe for you, who decided to take it upon themselvs to blast me, a computer expert, a long time beta tester of Windows itself, and most importantly a human being)
Forgive my apparent rudeness, but let me define the word HUMAN for you.
Human: A life form that is imperfectly perfect. It's mistakes make it perfect as it is capable of learning from them. Most advanced and complex creature on the planet earth.

Because MS, apparently thinking 'they' know best doesn't seem to do anything with user suggestions. If they did, please explain to me why the "Delete" context menu item is STILL right above the "Rename" option? Why didn't they add tabbed browsing to Windows Explorer? Why can you still not customize the context menu? Why does MS insist on changing, moving and renaming everything and generally making it harder to use their OS? Why did MS break apart all the options for the Desktop/Display properties and rename "Properties" to "Personalize", What's so innovative about that? Should I go on?
