One great thing about the Apple iPhone X is it's ability to easily slip into a pocket. These new Casetify cases provides some protection while still maintaining this pocketability.

As much as I love the form factor and design of the Apple iPhone X, I also want to protect the back glass and use something that provides improved grip. These two new cases from Casetify provide both of these functions. Casetify has five case options for the Apple iPhone X.

The $28 Essential Snap is a minimalist case that provides serious grip and back glass protection with just a bit of drop protection.

The $45 Essential Impact is one of the most protective cases with its shockproof material and clear design letting you enjoy the iPhone X design.

Upper back of the Essential Snap

The Essential Snap case is available in matte black and sand dust gray. I tested the sand dust gray one and it provides an excellent textured surface to prevent your iPhone X from sliding on a table while making it easy to hold onto.

The back adds just a bit of thickness, making the camera hump less obvious. A subtle Casetify brand X is in the right rear corner.

Bottom of the Casetify Essential Snap

Openings for the speaker and Lightning port are present on the Essential Snap. The case is also thin enough to fully support wireless charging and Apple Pay.

This image shows how thin the case is and how the corners have openings to support insertion and removal of your iPhone X.

There are openings for the ringer switch, volume, and right side button too.

Essential Impact on the iPhone X

The Casetify Essential Impact case is more substantial than the Essential Snap case with the use of Casetify's Qitech shockproof material that provides certified drop protection up to 2 meters.

This design is created to provide impact resistance and shock absorption through it structural design.

The frame provides protection while also rising just above the display so you can set your iPhone X down without worrying about the screen resting on the surface of a table.
