Decisions, decisions. There are a slew of smartphones to choose from - more than 40 (including some duplicates for carriers) in this gallery alone. You can choose by carrier, manufacturer, features, battery life, colors, cost, apps, and more. Plus, there's the OS - iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and Palm WebOS. But there's one main target - Apple iPhone 3GS. ZDNet's Matthew Miller has a rundown of smartphones available and also has some gift suggestions in the ZDNet Holiday Gift Guide.

The Apple iPhone 3GS has a capacitive touchscreen UI, 3.2 megapixel camera and $599.99 (16GB)/$699.99 (32GB) with no contact and $199.99 (16GB)/$299.99 (32GB) for 2-year AT&T contract price

Credit phone details to Matthew Miller.
