CES 2010 takes place from 5 through 9 January in Las Vegas and we are wandering the show floor and checking out the latest in mobile gadgetry. Most items will eventually appear later this year for you to purchase.
The Alex ebook reader is more than just an ebook reader with a full Google Android computer on the bottom. It is zippy and looks fantastic. The top eInk display can also display web pages as well as ebooks.
Marvell was showing a few different devices powered by their processors. This one was quite compact and had the title of Armada.
Here we see a rather large dual screen device combining the functions of an e-reader, netbook, notepad, and audio/video recorder and player in one.
MSI has a couple new netbooks coming in early 2010 and the U135 looks to be replacing the popular U100.

This is a great looking netbook that has it all.
The now familiar chicklet QWERTY keyboard has a great design that rivals the one on my MacBook Pro.
This is the device that caught my eye and has been stated by others as the one that shows Apple should skip the tablet.
The display pops out of the U-1 and the 1GHz Snapdragon kicks on to give you a wireless experience.
I never heard of this device and am not really surprised that someone else is launching an ebook reader. 2010 is definitely the year of the ebook.
It is quite a compact ebook reader.

This 1GHz Snapdragon Android device is coming to Canada.
The X10 runs fairly standard Android with a few apps from SE to optimize the media experience.
I thought it was cool how you could see through this display.
This is not an ebook reader, but an eInk device that lets you take documents on the go to work with.

The Palm Pre has done pretty well and will be getting a nice upgrade on Verizon.
There are four available USB ports for connecting you to your content.

Same form factor without the center bottom hardware button. The area is touch sensitive so no hardware button is required.
The keyboard colors have changed from orange to white so should have a bit better contrast.
The games look fantastic I you may get lost in this one for hours.
Racing in 3D comes to the Pre Plus.
Racing was fun and the graphics were seamless on the Pre Plus.
The Pixi Plus has the same external form factor as the existing Pixi.
