For those looking to have a device that tracks workout details and serves multiple key functions, then the Motorola MOTOACTV is a device to consider.

Please read my ZDNet Mobile Gadgeteer blog post for more details on this fitness device, including a video walkthrough of it.

Motorola didn't just create an Android fitness device, but has some great accessories to go with it.

The box contains headphones, a cable, and a charger.

I prefer using the wrist band and as you can see it looks like a fashionable large watch.

Here you can see how the wrist band secures. It is a very high quality accessory.

It is a big device on the wrist, but works well for someone of my size.

You can see the red color as well as the way the Motorola logo appears in the opening.

The wrist band is made of some kind of rubber and seems to be very durable.

The wrist band is worth the purchase.

The back of the MOTOACTV is stainless steel and rises up just a bit to fit into the accessories.

There are three buttons on the right side, two for volume controls and one for power.

The two top buttons control the music and the workout recording and are both very easy to use while on a run.

The microUSB port is used for charging and connectivity to a PC/Mac.

There is a plug for the 3.5mm headset jack, but I never used it since I prefer Bluetooth headphones for running.

I was getting ready for a run and had my MOTOACTV on with the JayBird Freedom headset ready to go.

The main unit is centered on your chest when mounted.

There are two elecrode pieces that need to be wet (spit or sweat work) to conduct the current for the heart rate monitor.

The MOTOACTV has a 1.6 inch display and fits wel in my hand. Also notice how great the display looks on the device.

Maps are included on the MOTOACTV and while they may be a bit difficult to view, they are helpful for planning and changing up your workouts.
