Recy, the recyclable roadster
In the run-up to its big event in December, the LA Auto Show is hosting a design challenge to see what might emerge from automakers' drawing boards.
One of the first concepts to emerge is this one from Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design of North America. Called the Recy, the design combines ingredients including wood, alloys, glass and rubber to suggest that it could one day be a 100 percent recyclable roadster. (There's no word on what kind of fuel such a car might burn.)
