The fourth BlackBerry 7 phone is the newest addition to its Curve portfolio, the Curve 9360.

The 9360 will be the second BlackBerry to feature NFC - a short-range wireless tech most commonly used for contactless payments and ticketing.

So far, UK consumers have proved largely resistant to the charms of contactless payments, but RIM is predicting the Olympics will give take-up a boost. "Use cases will come," said a BlackBerry spokesman.

Unlike the previous three BlackBerry 7 handsets released for the UK market, the Curve 9360 has no touchsreen - navigation is by means of the trackpad seen in the centre above the keyboard.
