mri: brain to robot

The robotic hand seen here is flashing a V sign after receiving a prompt to do so from brain waves relayed from a human in a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner. The man-machine interaction, which took place Wednesday in Tokyo, was carried out under the auspices of the Honda Research Institute and ATR Computational Neuroscience Laboratories. Also pictured here is HRI President Tomohiko Kawanabe.
