Photos: HP products target shutterbugs
PhotoSmart A716
HP announced plans for more than 100 new printers, cameras and related supplies during its 2006 Printing and Imaging Conference. Here, the $249 PhotoSmart A716 Compact Photo Printer, which features a 2.5-inch LCD screen to make sure you've selected the right picture to print.
Photosmart D7160 Photo Printer
Photographers who don't need a compact model like the A716 might opt for the $149 Photosmart D7160 Photo Printer. It will fit on top of a shelf or under a desk and print photos as large as 8.5 inches by 24 inches.
Photosmart M627 camera
Before you print, of course, you need to capture the image. The new Photosmart M627 camera can take 7-megapixel pictures in a compact package. It weighs just 120 grams, or 4.2 ounces, without a battery.
Photosmart R967
The most powerful--and most expensive--camera in HP's new lineup is the Photosmart R967. Photographers can snap 10-megapixel images and erase worries of blurred images with a built-in image stablizer. The camera costs $449, and it will be available in September.
Halo Collaboration Studio
Despite the price cut, Halo still probably isn't the best way to call Grandma.
