Evernote for PlayBook

Price: Free
Platform: BlackBerry

Evernote has now released a version of its popular cloud note-taking service for the BlackBerry PlayBook. The app allows users to take notes on the go, which get stored online. Recordings, photos and other files can also be added to notes. These notes can be accessed and synced to desktop, too. The Evernote team has gone for a two-column approach for the app, with the note list on the left and the selected note on the right. Users can also view the note in full page.

StickyTiles

Price: Free
Platform: Windows Phone 7

StickyTiles is like the Mango equivalent of putting a post-it note in your wallet. It allows you to write coloured, double-sided notes and stick them to your home screen so that you can easily remember any little tasks and errands you have to complete on any given day. The notes flip over every few seconds so you can see both sides, and to delete them once you have finished your errand, all you have to do is unpin it.

So next time you go to say, "Note to self", you can actually write a note to yourself rather than inflict your scintillating wit on your friends.
