Kayak

The travel booking company has recently updated its iOS, Android, and Windows Phone applications.
The app contains analogues of Kayak's website that allows the user to find flights, hotels, or hire a car.
For iOS users, the application now supports the iPhone 5's bigger display.
Essentially a gargantuan photo book, the app has over 30,000 photos of travel and historical sites from around the world.
It is a joint project between UNESCO World Heritage Centre and the apps creator Fotonauts. Descriptions for the photos are provided by UNESCO and Wikipedia.
Users can also share the photos through email, Facebook, and Twitter.
