While the LTE-A radio offers support for LTE-Advanced networks with download speeds up to 225 Mbps, I am actually more excited about the other improvements in this new model.
The improvements make me think twice about the purchase I just made, but since I bought it at a significant savings and we don't know if, or when, the LTE-A model may be coming to the US I am satisfied for now.
The improvements to the Galaxy S5 LTE-A are similar to what is found in the smartphones worth waiting for and include use of the Snapdragon 805 2.5 GHz processor, 3GB of RAM, and a Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. This new model has the same form factor as the current Galaxy S5 with the 16 megapixel camera and waterproof capability.
This new model will launch soon in Korea and be available in black, white, blue, gold, pink, and red. Are you holding out for this model to come to the US?
