The Super AMOLED 4.7-inch device is available in black and is currrently being offered for sale on Amazon Germany for €599 (£491). A delivery date is not listed.

There are few other details, and no images, of the device on the product page, but Amazon does also list a 12-megapixel camera, Android 4.0 — better known as Ice Cream Sandwich — and 16GB internal memory "expandable up to 32GB" as notable features of the smartphone.

Speculation about the existence and launch details of the Galaxy S3 have been circulating on the internet for some time, with many reports recently speculating that an invitation sent out by Samsung to "come and meet the next Galaxy" on 3 May will be the official unveiling of the device.

  • I'm really hoping this is legit, and that it's really going to have a 12MP camera vs. the 8 we saw in the new video that came out earlier. Also, the phone depicted in the video wasn't impressive at all. Hopefully we will be seeing something great from Samsung on the third. Here's to hoping we get the 12MP camera, the quad core, and 2gb ram like we want!!
