Summary: In 10 locations across the globe.

TOPICS: Data Centers

Savvis, the IT infrastructure company owned by telecommunications giant CenturyLink, announced this morning that it will make 10 new additions to its worldwide data center footprint.

Work for half of those locations has already been completed: the company last month completed expansion for its Boston, Atlanta and Singapore facilities and this month completed an expansion of its Washington, D.C. datacenter. It also built an all-new datacenter in London in April.

Up next: Expansions of its Dallas, Piscataway (N.J.) and Tampa facilities, and an all-new datacenter in Hong Kong, to be complete by November.

In total, that's 85,000 square feed of new space. It has 50 datacenters worldwide.
