Widespread BlackBerry data outage reported, is it time to move on?

Upon the request of many readers, I plan to start adding more BlackBerry coverage to this blog and wanted a device to test out software on and relate personal experiences to you. I thought the Curve was one of the latest and greatest BlackBerry devices (and it is for what is now available), but the Boy Genius Report just posted the Sprint 2008-09 roadmap for several mobile devices, including the new BlackBerry 8350i.
