AMD announces Hondo processor for Windows 8 tablets

Apple's new and improved MacBook Pro and MacBook Air

There was no Apple TV in sight, but Apple delivered exactly what everyone expected at today's Worldwide Developers Conference including fresh MacBooks and new versions of Mac OS X and iOS. The biggest surprise was a redesigned Apple MacBook Pro that is notably thinner and lighter, but has a super high-resolution display, faster quad-core processor and Nvidia's latest discrete graphics.

Apple presents 'the new iPad'

Apple has introduced a new model to its successful iPad range, which it calls 'the new iPad', rather than the iPad 3.The device was launched on Wednesday in San Francisco and brings a number of new hardware features, such as a 5-megapixel camera, high-resolution 'retina' display and quad-core graphics processor for an improved gaming experience.

Alienware prepping M14x to round out its gaming laptop lineup

Following up on the success of its smallest gaming notebook, the M11x, Alienware is apparently cooking up a new 14-inch laptop that a Chinese Web site has already reviewed.The M14x will include an Intel Sandy Bridge quad-core processor (the Core i7-2820QM), 8GB of RAM, a 750MB hard drive, and the new Nvidia GeForce GT 555M graphics card.
