SabPub Mac Trojan in the wild, says Kaspersky

Hackers have targeted Apple users with a fresh Mac OS X Trojan, weeks after Apple released two OS X updates to combat the Flashback Trojan.The SabPub Trojan is being controlled from a website hosted in Fremont, California, security company Kaspersky said in a blog post on Saturday.

Osama malware includes Mac attacks

Malware writers are usually quick to exploit hot news topics such as royal weddings and the assassination of terrorists, and Osama Bin Laden's death is no exception. In this case, malware events include the exploitation of Sohaib Athar's website -- he's the man who live-tweeted the US attack in Abbottabad without knowing it -- and scareware attacks on Mac OS X via the usual poisoned search engine results.

Motorola DROID getting full featured firmware update soon

I had a chance last weekend to spend a bit of time with the Motorola Droid from Verizon Wireless and was impressed by the display and solid form factor. I didn't think the keyboard was that great and prefer the HTC Sense flavor of the Android OS. Those of you who own the Verizon Droid will be pleased to know that a firmware update should start rolling out today that address a ton of issues, as listed on the Android Central website and copied below.
